It has become obvious private health insurance is making it's money by NOT providing health care.  Competition in health insurance is accomplished by competing for the healthiest pool of individuals possible - a reason why employer-based insurance is so popular, people working are generally healthy.

So what is the solution?  Study and analysis over the years has consistently pointed to Single Payer as a way a cut costs and save money.  Many call Single Payer Universal Health Care a "Medicare for All" health insurance program that would eliminate the need for private health insurance and their outrageous administrative costs, pre-existing condition exclusions, denied claims, high copays, and insurance policy caps.  Learn more...
