Well guys and gals the verdict is in----a patient has the right to an advocate of their choice and is to be honored.<
><
>Thanks to Ida,she took it to the HCFA Project Officer and the advocates are here to stay. So, now the NETWORK has to honor the advocates...!<

should not have to take a telephone call to Ida to clear up such an issue, the network knew this all along. It really appears to me that they were just stalling for some time for whatever reason. Happy to hear network came to their senses!

closer I'd give you a great big hug there Chili Queen. Hell I'd even buy you 2 Chili burgers to go. You deserve so many pats and hugs right now for all the crap these people have put you thru. Guess they figured out you don't scare easy. The people at work this am jumped on the chance to fax and phone these morons. Hope it helped.

Its all of us,no one can accomplish anything alone. We have worked as a group and we are getting larger by the day. We are all working towards the goal of choices, patient rights and still have to be vigilant and continue on the path. But to know that what we are all doing is making our lives count and someone may have it easier because of our visit on this earth. To live a life of passion is a great place to be.<
><
>We are now muuuuuuch stronger and the road is much easier. We need to continue to advocate and get the word out. When our articles come out,I for one will cry with joy. I do feel we getting close to the top of the mountain and will be able to make a difference for all dialysis patients. We have much help from powers stronger than our organization. Many have helped us with our journey.<
><
>As I said to a friend today, It has never been about being liked for what we do,after all I am too old to care about being voted as "Prom Queen". Chili Queen hmmmm maybe. But it was never about any of us being popular for our stands! You cant make an omlette without
eaking eggs!<
><
>Love you all!<

It wasnt the NETWORK that made the ruling. It was the HCFA project office once they were aware of the situation.
