while I admit I am not an avid television watcher, it was amazing to me to see the first commercial by the NFK this afternoon proclaiming this National Kidney Month. Well duh, today is the 18th. Every other organization advertises when it is their awareness period of time. This goes to show me that the FOUNDATION does s..t in trying to get any thing done for anyone outside of their bleep pocketbook . I know this is old news for everyone that has been involved with kidney problems, I just needed to vent. But I remember back to when Brent first started on dialysis back in 1975 they at least had a fund raisers which we took part in, believing they did help the patients and the families. We did learn they were all talk and no action. Guess nothing ever changes.

Well, ads are nice but with funds so limited I have to wonder why that same money wasn't used for pt. education! Lin.
