Question raised on yahoo board regarding labs got me thinking. Generally labs drawn on Wednesday or Thursday(Mid week run) so that patient has only 1 day between runs. If labs were drawn on Monday/Tuesday after 2 days off dialysis would the labs results appear better? Bigger change from pre to post? Just wondering what some experts thought.

Since the blood is dirtier there is a greater chemical gradient resulting in higher mass transfer

We always did labs after two days because we could get a truer reading, so they told us.
