Chamber luncheon addresses campaign finance laws

Campaign finance laws need to change, and candidates should be able to use public funds to run for office, said Molly Beacham, director of development for Democracy North Carolina.

Beacham made a case for publicly funded campaigns to about 30 people at the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce Power Luncheon on Tuesday at Brook Valley Country Club.
