Arlene has asked me to copy this to the board for others to see. We need some more going this way .....so that this "ham for the cameras" know we are not just a bunch of nobodies. No offense to any of teh regular viewers of the shows mentioned, as I watch them all to but needed to take a different approach <

Perhaps they can use the time your office told us never to call it again. HMMMMM? Shall I go on, oh sure I will, but I am going to give you the ending which could be a repeat performance for your new role being continued on Law and Order, where the Politicians don?t always win. PLANTIFF : Senate Hearing Spokesman Brent Smith, who fought so valiantly for the patients, sits in front of the committee speaking from his 30 years plus of first hand knowledge concerning the matters at hand. Tells all of you the problems with the lack of training among the staff members, the problems with the jiffy lube treatment, how every patient who questions a treatment is threatened with you can go elsewhere and seek your care. How the Doctors more then half the time don?t even show up except once a month, yet charge a weekly fee. The units using re-use dializers, when in fact it is proven amongst patients to be less effective, then the bleep units have the nerve to charge for a

Brent was threatened to the day he died, and so is every patient who dare speaks out. Two technicians were fired because they spoke out at that unit. The Government was notified of this. But once again with no media present, no Senators. VERDICT : Guilty of lying to the public. I will be sure to be there in front of your office at one point or time during your re election bid, to hear you answer to me why you did nothing. Only this time this group of ?NOBODIES? has grown beyond belief and has the support of many media personal that have dug deep to uncover the hidden story behind all of this. I bet you will be there this time. EPILOGUE: You won?t get offered a sequel. SYNOPSIS : I am Brent?s sister, and a member of the group of nobodies you fired. Pop in that tape from the Senate hearings and hear how he was harassed prior to the hearings. I can tell you of the threats that were made to him after the hearings and they are by far worse. He put his trust in you and the other Senators, only once again to have his trust in people

of you and Brent that I would be here to the end, and I will keep my word. Plus I have made so many friends and new family, wouldn't want to lose all that. But to the others that haven't faxed, we need one from everyone possible. Getting the word out is the only way to go. If there is a concern that you don't want a fax number retraced, email me the letter and I will fax from mine. Another suggestion would be if you have the phone system, available in your area where you can block the number (here it is *67 then number), you can do it without the fax coming thru with the number. We tested it out at work, then faxed about 20 different notes to the Senator. Thanks...........

Personally there is a group out here in the Northwest (wild west) that are making up flyers to go to our Saturday Markets and Town Hall Meetings. There is a group of patients that are going to attend these meetings and ask Wyden why he fired a group that needed help, remember he had privy information as he also is a member of The Senate Committee on Aging. He states when he was running that he was for the under-dog and he was the Co-founder of Gray panthers here in Oregon. We are contacting the Press as our journalist is one that is renouned and he will talk to the reporters and state how the conditions are still. With the Flyers and help from our churches, the word will get out. I am sure the other canidates office will be contacted. I dont think anyone will call our patients liars that had attended the meeting when they were snubbed and told that it basically is there problem.<

His office lost the documents awhile back and I faxed a letter on the fact that we have gotten far on our own,as we never heard from that office again. A call was made and his staff was great and contacted their office in Washington DC. A call was received by a staffer on Friday stating that they are too busy and many issues are pressing. It appears that I could if I wanted to flag him down next weekend at the Saturday market. I sent back a fax stating that I cant think of anything more pressing than the loss of rights and life on Federal dollars. A list of the conditions and the fact that his office has not responded to anything on this issue. I do believe in giving everyone a chance. Many of us will be at the Saturday market with flyers and patients who arent worthy of Rep Brian Baird. We will see if his office contacts us or if they ignore it. <

...that editorial writing is addictive. But I'm not ready to "just say no" quite yet. I've got another idea for another letter to the editor. I guess I'm getting high on 'da warm fuzzy.
