Congressman Crow,

As the father of a daughter dealing with kidney disease and a kidney dialysis advocate for over twenty years I've been writing you about something that ought to be done - the big dialysis companies ought to be broken up!

Besides helping to head-up a group that got a bill for the certification of kidney dialysis techs passed in 2007 (renewed in 2012 and 2019), I did a Walk in Omaha NE on May 6th just asking Warren Buffett to do a small favor - break up the dialysis company DaVita! Buffett and his company Berkshire could do it with their pocket change as far as I can tell. Why should DaVita be broken up? This one-minute-intro ought to give you an idea (a near 50 year history in a glance):

And how did the May 6th Omaha Walk go? I wrote about it here:

https://www.dialysisethics2.org/index.php/articles/9-blog/142-blog-11-save-the-billionaires-or-not-

The Walk turned out to be more of just a scouting mission but I was fine with it (I have a weird sense of fun)

And I did put together a reading list for you or anybody interested in pro-competition capitalism and next year's Walk:
