But getting back to the tech, I actually feel fortunate at least someone capable of guilt had TRIED to take care of my daughter. Maybe some of the techs that TRIED to take care of Brent Smith, US Senate Witness, felt some level of guilt. But many of them had less than impressive backgrounds:

When I first returned to dialysis, I had technicians handle my blood and my life who were convicted criminals, strippers, and refrigerator technicians.”

Now I’ll tell you what I’ve tried! I’ve tried to imagine what it is like to sit in that dialysis chair. As my daughter screamed at me when I tried to push her to lengthen her dialysis sessions “You don’t know what it is like!”. She’s right, I can’t even imagine what she went through, and probably never will. But I will tell you what I can imagine. I can imagine a father, grandfather standing next to lady named Betty Allen screaming for help!

I can tell you what else I can do, I can admire the struggles of the Senate Witnessess and I can admire the struggles of people like Frank Brown. I can admire the way they fought back! I can also keep on going until the echos of the screams stop!

Anyway, back to the top of a putrid pile of garbage and some bad dad humor - at least bad humor can be a weapon and a shield.  (In the article just linked to I mentioned my credentials - work at the Colorado Statehouse)
